The things I stumble upon in my back yard. I've decided to journal them here
I know where the term 'birds and the bees' comes from after watching these two rainbow lorakeets on my balcony this afternoon!
Our resident Monitor Lizard - blocking my path to pick bananas
Tawny frog mouth - he's spotted me. Isn't he just the most beautiful bird?
Koala in a very large grey gum
Little green frog in my garden - smaller than my thumb
A beautiful little green frog on my back step
Wallaby - In Queenslands dry months, the Wallabies rely on the bird bath to satisfy their thirst. In fact my bird bath is a busy stop for all manner of wildlife.
Koala - in the wild. It's rare to get eye contact (they're usually asleep)!
Tawny frog mouth - how well is it camouflaged? I can't believe I spotted it.
This lace monitor lizard is an occasional visitor.
