The Illustrated Marguerite Henry Published 1980. Although this is a library edition, it is from 1980. Wonderful book about the artists she worked with.Not sure which one did the cover but I suspect it was Bob Lougheed. Rand McNally & Co., publishers. In my collection. Feb. 2011.

"Old Bones the Wonder Horse," written by Mildred Mastin Pace and illustrated by Wesley Dennis. The story of the race horse "Exterminator" who won the Kentucky Derby in 1918, after replacing an owner's first-choice horse. Exterminator was a lanky, ugly Thoroughbred with the heart of a consummate champion. He went on to have a full career and retired to stud.
