Treasure Your Travels with Art
Photography: Acrylic on Other. This very detailed and emotional glowing large format is 1 of 3 exclusive prints from a series of 50 prints, with hand signed certificates. The finish with floating silicone lamination gives the view a 3d effect which is overwhelming in colors and details. The fine art photography Empire State Impression shows an impressive scenario of New York at dusk, in the center the Empire State Building – illuminated green – in honor of the Robin Hood Foundation.
New Media: Digital on Paper. Colors are quiet - reflecting an impression I had of the Golden Gate early one morning. This is the South Tower - as seen from San Francisco's Marina. The rose lilac color to the left and right of the tower seemed appropriate for water being kicked up that day. The quiet sun, in pastel blue, was equally appropriate.
Photography: C-type on Aluminium and Paper. The least densely populated country in the world, Mongolia, is a vastly varied land. Terelj, in the Northeast, is famous for its landscapes, and we were particularly lucky to be there when about a 75% cloud cover let the sun dramatically spotlight and darken large swaths of the view.
Painting: Oil on Canvas. Part of a collection of work celebrating colours, textures and shapes from the London Underground. By careful selection of perspectives and viewpoints (and by removing almost all of the people), Rebecca is able to take ordinary scenes and reveal their underlying beauty and style, which can so often go unnoticed.
