Contemporary Building

The contemporary building is characterised by concrete and glass. The large concrete skin panels emphasise the natural character of concrete. Its authentic appearance gives the outer shell a distinctive character. Design: LYNCH EISINGER DESIGN Architects

The Swiss Minoteries building complex from the 1970s was renovated, reducing its energy consumption in line with current standards. To preserve the character of the buildings, concrete skin panels were used for the facade.

The glassfibre reinforced concrete elements reinterpret the original 70s charm of the complex and bring it into the architectural here and now.

The light concrete skin panels give the building an elegant and timeless appearance.

The outer shell was completely dismantled and clad with prefabricated timber construction modules. A substructure and glassfibre reinforced concrete panels in polar white were then attached to the wooden elements.
