Anthon Hoornweg

Anthon Hoornweg has always been drawing, modelling in clay and carving wood. His earliest attempts date from his time at primary school when he made small figurines in sea clay. Later he would take lessons from the renowned sculptor Ru de Gier. From 1965 to 1970 Anthon Hoornweg studied at the Rotterdam Academy for the Visual Arts where he was taught by Arie Teeuwisse, Bram Roth and Ian Pieters.
