Nepalese kora sword. These swords were used for both fighting and religious sacrifice. This sword would have been used more as a fighting sword as the sacrificial swords tend to be much wider and heavier. The blade has a thick back side and is sharp on the convex side much like a kukri. Typical disk pommel and guard. Ring attached to pommel. Carved decoration on both sides of blade inlaid with red lacquer. 18th to 19th century. Blade measures 20 inches long, 26 1/4 inches overall.

Knife Angle chart - Every type of knife blade has its own bevel angle. Paring and filleting knives that have to slice through delicate flesh, such as tomatoes or raw fish, have shallow bevels just 5 to 10 degrees. Their edges are very sharp but easily blunted. Cleavers and chopping knives that have to cut through bone have an even steeper bevel, usually between 15 and 25 ...

African throwing knife, used as a sword, a blade, and as a throwing knife. Just like a large throwing star.
District 12 : My weapon of choice is spears. I'm happy with my weapons, I've always been good with spears, swords and throwing knives. My only problem with it is that these are hand on hand weapons, which means unless I'm being attacked head on, they will be difficult to kill from a distance with. But I decide that's not a problem. I can kill if I need to and I know how to stay hidden. I think I have an excellent advantage. Now...I wait.
