This is a Noah's Ark set completely handcrafted from clay. It includes Noah and 5 pairs of animals - giraffes, bunnies, elephants, lions, and zebras - and of course, the ark itself! These pieces each began on a potter's wheel (even the very tiniest ones!) where they were given their original shape. From there, bits of clay were added for the ears, manes, trunks, ark's roof, etc., and then the entire set was sponge-smoothed by hand. It was bisque fired in an electric kiln for 7 hours…
