January 13, 2014 – Braman's Wanderings
This vintage post card was sent in the late summer of 1946 as a husband and wife couple were travelling from Illinois. They sent this post card to his mother to let her know that they had taken off their shoes and waded into the ocean, and were starting their trip back home.
A misprinted vintage post card of the boardwalk. While this view is looking north, the "New" Convention Hall Complex is actually in the background, with the Casino/Carousel building in the foreground. The Convention Hall Complex was finished in 1928, so this post card was probably printed around that time.
