DUST Fact: #Eczema symptoms are often worsened by dust and can turn into a persistent condition known as chronic dermatitis. Dust #mites have been linked to the development of nasal polyps in some instances. The small nodules that occur inside the nose cavity are caused by inflammation inside the nose over a long time. Though not serious they can lead to immense discomfort. One serious consequence of dust mites is that they can significantly impact the immune system following continued exposure.
Norwex Home - Premium Microfiber & Sustainable Cleaning Products
The mattress cleaner is one of my favs! If you have allergies or asthma, I HIGHLY recommend this product! It's not just for your mattresses! Use it on any fabricated material that collects organic matter: pillows, couches, car seats, stuffed animals, curtains, pack n plays, etc... Not only does it remove stains and odors but it uses natural plant based enzymes to go to work on dead skin cells, dust mites and their excrement. Amazing.
Vinegar in the laundry: 1/2 cup of vinegar in a downy ball or in the fabric softener dispenser of your washing machine to soften your clothes--no vinegar smell. Never wash your bed pillows: once a week run your bed pillows in the dryer on high for 20 minutes. This fluffs and kills dust mites. To deodorize, take a wash cloth and pour a few tablespoons of vinegar on it. Works as a dryer sheet and kills smells. Can be used on clothes too. Let dryer cool a bit before opening because of steam.
