An essential question lies at the heart of a subject and is designed to promote inquiry and discovery. An essential question has no “right” answer, are framed to provoke and sustain interest, raise other important questions and helps students to think at more complex levels. This board includes information about essential questions, how to create them and even examples of essential questions.
