She is crowned with a wreath here in her glorified state because of her ultimate sacrifice (martyrs are often crowned in heaven). Also because she was said to wear a wreath lit with candles when bringing food to Christians in the catacombs. Here there are no candles because she is the source of the light. She holds a palm of victory and a plate with her eyes, which were removed during her execution…
