The idea behind the project was to create a piece of architecture that is in symbiosis with its surroundings. The building was meant to be a indistinguishable part of the forest, to underline the extent of the deforestation problem in Africa. We created a modular construction that could be freely shaped and reused.
This bridge will bring people together and unite those with varied purposes, enabling all walks of life to enjoy the interconnected public spaces. Through this design we create a beacon for Copenhagen and seek to celebrate cycling; promoting its use within the community and throughout the city.
