The Tuschinski Theatre. Reguliersbreestraat 26-34, 1017 CN Amsterdam, Holland Commissioned in 1921 by the Jewish entrepreneur Abraham Icek Tuschinski, the theater was designed by Hijman Louis de Jong. The building combines different artistic styles: Art Deco ,Amsterdam School, Art Nouveau , plus Asian influences. In 1940, when it was occupied by Germans, the name Tuschinski was removed from the façade and only German productions were shown in it.
