After having some serious snow a couple weeks ago, the weather in Denver has been absolutelygorgeous! I'm talking, 60 and even 70 days, people! With temperatures like that, how on earth could we stay indoors?! Thankfully, we discovered the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, and it turned out to be everything we needed: a 15-minute drive from our home, a flat trail punctuated by bridges overlooking icy lakes, lots of wildlife to ooh and ahh over, and pastoral grasslands to admire.
