Jacqueline Bouvier, JFK 1953 Jackie's neo-victorian dress, under orders from JFK's father, was made of ivory silk taffeta with a huge circular skirt, decorated with tiny wax flowers, and a bodice with a portrait neckline. She wore her grandmother's rose point lace veil attached to her hair with a small tiara of lace and orange blossoms. Jackie confessed to "hating" her "clumsy gown," it achieved her father-in-law's wish by living on as one of the most memorable dresses in bridal history.
