There's A Storm Brewing Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
There's A Storm BrewingHave you ever watched clouds blowing by? I mean really watched. They are endlessly fascinating, ever changing. Wouldn't it be fun if we could find a way to colour them then photograph them. That's the joy of abstract - anything goes.
I think I spent a couple of hours playing around with featuring this image at a good angle. I like to have a focal point in my abstracts, but I couldn't find one for this piece. I think all the black gives us some drama and a nice contrast in the actual staircase. I've named it "Eternity" because I can't see where it starts and where it ends. But, may I say, I find the colour combo unusual and attractive.
The News Is Good A simple design but I spent a lot of time on it. I could feel it all coming together, then suddenly - ahha! I want to develop the contrasting painterly style of this abstract. For me, it's full live life and depth. For me it is uplifting and needs to be hung in a prominent spot
Rustic Red Rosebud Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
I spent ages on this creation. I wanted something different and imaginative. Did I succeed? It's an amazing experience to totally abandon all my habitual mental limitations. Fast flowing imagination is very exciting.
Great Balls Of Fire Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
I'm not sure if a small planet has just exploded or a new one is being born. I wonder if there's any noise? There's certainly plenty of action! But what is it? I thought as a canvas this could look pretty dynamic in the right place. A great conversation starter perhaps?
Entering The Netherworld Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
The "Netherworld" where souls are forever doomed to wander aimlessly. Gulp - how depressing. But that's the word that first came to mind when I saw what I had created. Just for once I wanted to deviate from my usual approach of creating colourful and uplifting art.
I'm playing around with numbers and letters - shapes and colours. They have such wonderful shapes that we easily take for granted. I have tried to make the humble letter 'S' into a little work of art!
A Bucket Of Strawberries Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
Oh boy, couldn't you just dive in! Delicious, fully ripe strawberries in abundance. What a wonderful time of year! I've added an abstract filter to give your imagination more room to move.
Delicious Abstract Red Rose Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
Delicious Abstract Red RoseIs there anything more romantic than a deep red rose? A universal symbol of love and romance. I really enjoyed giving this photo and abstract flourish, I hope you can share my joy. I can imagine it as a large feature on a living rom wall, or perhaps printed as a mini showpiece on aluminium!

Love That Sax Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
You can almost hear that sax blasting out it's magnificent music - he's on fire! I've let loose with the colourful clouds of smoke. A glorious moment in time.
Digital Abstract In Romancing Colours Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
Pink and purple and cerise in a bed of cloud. It's like the colours are set on creating a mood of romance. I've yet to find a suitable soundtrack. Can you imagine this piece in your home or office? Could make a good conversation starter.
I decided to be adventurous. This piece started out as a simple photo. Then I started adding layers. I'm happy with the result, probably because I like the colour purple. One of the layers is an abstract i had done earlier. I put a soft hole in it to allow the lavender flowers to peek through.
Another experiment in colour merging created on my iPad.The blaze of colours reminds me of the fairground at night. This style of abstract I really like on the Tote Bag and Coffee Mug on Fine Art America. How about a couple of mugs on a table sitting under a printed canvas of the same design?
Pink Clouds Abstract Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Clive Littin
I am working with layers and shapes. Clouds offer me the feel I'm looking for. Soft, perhaps romantic, ever changing, revealing sky and hiding it. Pleading to be flavoured with colour and fun. My challenge is to make the final result delightful.
Make Devils Cry Throw Pillow
I am pleased with this outcome. The image has been built with many layers - and a huge amount of experimentation! How to create an original looking dragon? This is the part of design that I like, when the outcome is uncertain and occasionally surprising!
