Art Lesson II-2: The Korean Wedding Duck. A Peace Corps volunteer in Korea returned with two wedding ducks. The ducks are used in traditional Korean wedding ceremonies, and we show both the bride and groom’s duck. The art lesson teaches students to create contrasts between concentrated and diluted acrylic paint. The lesson can also be used as a window on Korean culture (e.g., can you find a hint of the Korean flag in the duck?). Students can easily follow the lesson independently.
