William Cecil, 1st Baron Burghley
Tomb of William Cecil, 1st Baron Burghley, Stamford, Lincolnshire. ~ He started his career being a secretary of Edward, Jane Seymour's brother. Then he proceeded with John Dudley as a manager of lands of future Elizabeth I. He survived the reign of Mary Tudor as he came from Protestantism to Catholic faith and chose a career of diplomat. With Elizabeth I he returned to Protestantism and presented his genius to enforce England. His descendants still live in The UK as Earls of Salisbury
"Tomb of Queen Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots, Westminster Abbey, London" The quotation is not mine and it is wrong. Yes it is the tomb of Queen Elizabeth I but it is not Mary, Queen of Scots. It is Elizabeth's sister, Queen Mary I (or Bloody Mary). The Queen of Scots was executed as a traitor and not English royalty, therefore she would not be buried here.
