Maybe try this next. Also used one 4 oz bottle of Elmer's Glue mixed with 4 oz (use bottle) of warm water and food coloring (8-10 drops). Then gradually mix with 1 tsp. of Borax dissolved in 1 cup of warm water. You will most likely not use all of the Borax solution before you get the consistency you want.
Remove a stubborn stain by mixing 1 cup of borax with 2 cups of warm water and apply the paste directly to the stain. Let it sit, then launder as usual. Remove carpet stains by dampening the stain thoroughly and rubbing some borax on it. Vacuum it then finish it off with a vinegar and water solution. Let it dry and repeat if necessary. Use this same method on soiled mattresses. It will get rid of both the odor and stain.
Flea & Tick Remedy 8 oz apple cider vinegar 4 oz warm water 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda Mix dry ingredients first then slowly add to wet as the vinegar and baking soda will react slightly. Put into spray bottle and spray pets down. Be careful not to get in pets eyes. Use Borax throughout the house, sprinkle it on the carpets and let sit for a few hours, then vacuum. This should kill all the fleas and ticks in your home and on your pets.
How to Control Carpenter Ants
How to Control Carpenter Ants Use Half Baby Powder and Half Diatomaceous Earth Try mixing half baby powder and half diatomaceous earth. Just sprinkle this around on the ground where you see the ants. We even dusted it into the cracks of the wood around a flowerbed. This is safe to have around animals, and children aren't likely to bother it. I used food grade diatomaceous earth.
