Infantry trooper's sword m/1685, was made to the 1730's, replacement with m/1748 cutlass didn't happen until Pomeranian war 1757-62, some units still issuing m/1685 to 1790s. Navy then took huge number of them from storage, cut down the tip and made it m/1832.
