THE SELKIRK GRACE This plaque is mounted on the wall of the Rose Garden opposite Robert Burns's House & Museum in Dumfries. Although the "Selkirk Grace" is attributed to Robert Burns, a version was known in the 17th century as the Galloway Grace or the Covenanters' Grace and was said in Lallans (the Lowland Scots dialect). The first verse is usually said at Burns Suppers. Lord, Scottish Blood, Isle Of Skye, My Heritage, Galloway, Grammie
